Lower down there is more open area to fish on Mill Creek so try that. Can't remember the names. But I'd start about 2 miles below The Elbow ( or what ever it's called) If you don't have luck in the first half mile just move up past the elbow and hit the little areas with open water up above. Sunday afternoon nobody was fishing the big pool or the next half mile above so it's not always crowded even on weekends. Don't bring any rod over 7 ft if you're going to try it.
