Yeh, I too heard about them wanting to get rid of the bass in Japan. That really is a shame too seeing as to how they've obviously got world record potention over there if they're producing 19lb fish. Bummer. We may get a big flood of japanese bass fishermen to CA here if they end up trying to get rid of their little green friends. LOL.
Ya, there's apparently bass all over the world. I hear they don't exactly use the traditional bass fishing techniques over there in South Africa. I thought I remembered hearing a rumor of there being more of a fly-fishing kind of deal there, but they're just as serious about their bassin' as we are in the states. LoL. Italy is also big with the bassin'...
