In my opinion, the time during fishing isn't lost, but well spent... especially if you're with family and/or friends. Maybe if you're all alone and get skunked, then that's lost! LOL
Since I only started this spring, I don't think I lost anything yet....
I did lose a really nifty lookin' lure at Holmes Creek (those rocks eat all my stuff!), but I just went to Wal-Mart and bought another one...so that doesn't count as truly lost, I guess.
