your right on with keeping the big predators.. they will be replaced soon after being removed..
the big thing with the drout and crashing of the lake is the Bio-mass of the lake.. there is only 100 % in any given lake. when the lake water drop's so does the amount of Bio-mass the lake can take. if 80 to 90 % is carp that only leve's 10 to 20 % of the Bio-mass to all the other fish in the lake! if anyone has fished yuba latley then you already know there are more carp than anything in the lake right now!. there for the biggest amount of Bio-mass is carp! and in drout year's the carp thrive where the other fish starve to death makeing the balance even more in the carps faver.. something to think about?
utah lake is the best example of this.. where it's 98% Bio-mass is carp..
