Like Tube Babe, I also have many fond family memories fishing the Fairview Canyon area. When I was a kid Electric Lake had not been built, and Huntington Canyon was drained every year, and I don't believe it even held fish. Additional reservoirs to add to your list to fish in the area are: Fairview Reservoir, Gooseberry, Millers Flat and a little further drive to Joes Valley. It seems you can always catch fish somewhere in the area --- lots of choices.
