Should read, 'is owned by the government.' They all have their hand in the mix, so why would they push for lower prices? Plus we have a ton oil available to us right in the states. Oil shale right in Utah, and Nevada. Huge oil reserves in Alaska. South Dakota has a huge reserve as well. We need to be less dependant on foreingn il and use what we have available.
