I used to have a 12' crawdad with an electric motor that I used to duck hunt out of, never registered it and had been checked by wardens multiple times and never once did they question the registration, I know in the regs. it says any motorized watercraft needs to be registered, I guess it depends on where you go and which C.O you deal with.
