Good question. I was at UL and ran into someone with a pontoon boat w/ a trolling motor and he said he was at Willard and the warden there said he would ticket him if he didn't register it so he did. I have an 8 foot Bass Raider with a trolling motor and when I inquired about registering it I was told it wasn't necessary. Much like a canoe. Seems there is some inconsistency of opinions. Of course, I'm sure it's in a reg somewhere.
