Went fly fishing for the first time today. A friend took me, and we hit Nebo Creek at 7:30am. Water was clear and COLD. I caught 3 browns (7-10 inches), one on a royal wulf and two on a bead head prince nymph. He caught seven on nymphs. All were released. By 9:30 the water was all muddy, so few bites. Headed back at 11.
More fun than I ever imagined. I'll be heading out at least twice a week with a fly rod. I think I'm converted. [
