I actually have found one dead cinnamon colored black bear while bow hunting LaBarge Creek here in Wyo three years ago. It smelled like 1000 dead skunks, absolutely disgusting.
As for wolverines, I have only seen one in the Thorofare south of Yellowstone and it was still kickin. But even as rare as wolverines are in Wyoming they still have been found dead while biologists are completing studies. In fact in 2005 while conducting winter studies the Wolverine Foundation found one that had been killed by an avalanche. Now that is rare.[
