(Poll) Do you believe in Bigfoot??
#36
Never have I read or heard of a veteranarian or biologist doing research on bear heart conditions. Heart attacks, as you know, are most commonly caused by high blood pressure, diabetes, cholestorol, genetics, or some heart defect in humans. I do not know much bear physiology but would assume that bear heart attacks are rare. Given the averge lifespan of bears being no more than 30 years, they probably do not have enough time to accumulate the heart attack causes, if they exist in bears. If rare heart conditions kill them what it probably does not happen on a regular bases. Just like heart disease in human was relativley rare before our inactive lifestyle.

If a bear died of a heart attack, as you suggest-whether for pure humor or literally-what is the chance of any one human finding it out of the estimated 700,000 bears in North America. It is just like I described above. Such findings are rare.

I refrain from viewing any YouTube broadcasts. Not much good infor or footage of anything on that site. I did look at your link and it is a funny joke. Great humor. But it does not accomplish anything in disproving the existence of Bigfoot.

The China Flats-Willow Creek Museum near Bluff Creek, California is offering a $100,000 reward to anyone who can reproduce the 1967 Patterson-Gimlin Footage or the footprints they cast there on that day. To this day, noone has succeded in doing so.

I would also like to share with you what 3 of my dogs have done when their time came. One of them consumed some poisen or chemicals and I did not find it until 4 days after it died. It had hdt under a stack of old tires in one corner of the yard. The other one dug a den in a place alon the fence of the yard and I found it 1 week later. And finally the third, I never found. This is back when I was a kid and when I came home from school the dog had got out of the house. Cats also do this. There have been many cases where coyotes have been found in dens hiding and sick. This is completely real and normal animal behavior. We humans aren't so unique are we?
