Is it better to not tell the ones that only catch to kill???
Or teach then why you need to release the bigger one and keep only a few smaller one to eat????
Yes I tell lots of people how and where to have a chance to catch bass, in the hopes that others can and will like to see more and bigger bass in the lakes for all...
And at the same time have a chance to catch a fish of a life time and know how it feels to watch it swim away....If no one teaches no one learns....
Its like your lures, if no one show how to use them no one will keep buying then... And the more that know how to use them the more you will sell...
This spring I seen two guys fishing and they stopped me to talk, after a few words one told me that he could see how keeping the bigger bass last spring has hurt the fishing and its harder to find any this year and now he's releasing all bass over 12"...Thats two that learned, if no one told them how would they find out....
So am I wrong for telling How, When, Where and Why I fish for bass???
