Mc Lennon you pretty much hit the nail on the head with the rain forest demolition.
One thing the Global Warming Cult never mentions is that water vapor makes up about 70% of the "Green House" gasses in the Troposphere, while CO2 only makes up 6%. Agriculture is the biggest contributor to "Green House" gasses there is for two reasons. The first being the increased evaporation from rain forest removal and increased irrigation practices, and the second being the increased methane output due to livestock farts [shocked].
But I don't even blame "Green House" gasses for Climate change, I blame the sun. The increase and decrease in strength of the Sun's Magnetosphere and the Solar Storms that it allows has a dramatic effect on the Earth's climate. We are presently in a slow cycle that started in 2007, and in less than a year the average temperature on the planet has completely wiped out all of the temperature increase the earth has seen in the last hundred years.
The same Global Warming fanatics of today were the same Global Cooling fanatics of the '70s when they all feared an Ice Age even though CO2 was at higher levels than it is today. Back then they wanted to melt the Polar Ice Caps to help warm the Earth.
A few interesting reads for those that are interested.
