[#008000]Hey Vivid-Dawn,[/#008000]
[#008000][/#008000]
[#008000]Congratulations on your first fish.

I'm glad to see you got some. You'll be hard core before long, and could be a lecturing "guess-pert" at our one of our furture Fishing 101 seminars. [/#008000]
[#008000]
Let me help fill in some of the details for you;[/#008000]
[#008000][/#008000]
[#008000](in Angler-eese)[/#008000]
[#008000] [/#008000]
[#008000][#008000]water temperature[/#008000] = cool to the touch, [/#008000]
[#008000][#008000]air temperature[/#008000] = mid morning mountain brisk, [/#008000]
[#008000][#008000]depth [/#008000]= around under the boat, [/#008000]
[#008000][#008000]exact location[/#008000] = about where the fish were, [/#008000]
[#008000][#008000]stuff[/#008000] = basic bouncing bassboat, drop shot, mojo, plastics, casting, jigging, general slow mosey with trolling motor, etc.

It's not surprising that Bassrods got you into some fish as he seems to be able to do that on a fairly regular basis, however, it is kind of surprising that he was OK with you keeping some bass for dinner. Kudos to Bassrods on both accounts.

Now to train for your next outing on a boat, find yourself a Labrador Retiever, tie a milk bone on the end of your rod (no hook), then stand on a trampoline with the happy Lab and play keep away from the dog for as long as you can - you'll have your sea legs in no time.
