Sounds like you had a good time at the Big D, Joni. I wish we could have made it down, but my partner was hung up, and the weather looked pretty rotten, so we didn't venture. When are you two headed up Henry's way? We'll be taking a stab at it this Saturday. Come on up if you can.
Nice photos. I've got one of those old Eagle Claw convertible glass rods as well. I haven't used it as a fly rod yet though. Where did you buy your net? I've been looking for a deal on one like that, but haven't found one. I'd sure like to hit the chronies sometime. I've never fished them, but I've got a bunch tied up, and some slip sinkers. Can you do it that way at Henry's?
