I'm not sure if this will help you see the picture but here is what I have learned about this probem.
You can open the last picture by slowly running your cursor over the picture link from the bottom to the top and just when you go past the top of the link the cursor will pick up the link. I think the edit notice is blocking most of the link, so when ever you try and click on it only a small part of the link works.
If this doesn't work, let me know and I'll look into it a little more.
