Fishing can be cruel, can't it! Just when you think you've got it figured out, you have to start over. Well, keep a few kokes up there for me until we return from our fishing trip to Kootenay Lake, in British Columbia. Talk about a steep learning curve, I have never fished the lake before, and considering that it is 99 miles long, my odds are reduced considerably. The latest report states that the large kamploops (10-20 pounds) are being caught between the surface and 85 feet! You think they could possibly be a bit more specific?! I will report when we return, and hope to return to good kokanee fishing at L.P. Mike
