[cool][#008000]Well today was even better. Air temps in the mid 30s & water temperature 38. Got to Weir Lake around a little after 7. My Gps had the elevation at 9750'. Guess one could call it an Alpine lake. Caught several 6/7 bow stockers around 10" & 1 about 14". The latter was quite stocky. While taking a break a father & son drove up to try their hand at fly fishing. They were the only other people that I have seen all week to be fly fishing. Oddly enough we all live in the same town. Will have to revisit my choice of socks. Although I was wearing heavy wool socks my feet were cold as ice. [/#008000]
[#008000]While everyone had suggested nymphs, etc I went strickly with dries. [/#008000]
[#008000]The lake is fed by a heavy running stream and appears to be no deeper than 4'. Truly a wader's dream scene.[/#008000]
