Interesting point of view. I am always surprised by the anit trout movement gong around. If i didnt know much about trout and hadnt caught a few thousand over 20 " i probably would agree with you. Just spent way to much time on the waters around here to believe they are these weak slim rocket fish everyone is calling them. Either way doesnt much matter just a perception of a fish is all. I cant think of a naturally recurring clear water lake where trout exist have been run over by the introduced species. Given all trout are introduced other than cutts. But trout in general in their environment i have not seen a example of that. otter creek is a prime example. they stocked small mouth in there 2 years ago. they havent gill netted one since. where did they go? in the rainbows bellies i guess haha. the browns in jordanelle are king right now the rainbows didnt do so hot but i believe from other reason above and beyond the smallies and other species being introduced. minersville before the killed it. besided over harvest it had huge rainbows and managed the chubs quite well. but a coincidence tends to happen on these waters. big fish, next alot of fisherman, next alot of freezer burnt fish or wall hangers, next alot of chubs, next rhetenon.
