Used alumi-weld, but started cracking a little of both. I've got jb weld (we all should[
]), but the wife's afraid it won't seal and she'll be swimmin'. I think the boat cracked due to concentrated heat and maybe the patch cracked due to cooling too fast (or both). Family's up for having a pro do it now[blush].
Update... pro wouldn't touch it, as it had already been "touched". Went for the jb and all is good.[cool]
