Hey scoobydo,

Welcome to the site...good to have more anglers from Washington State.
I live in SW Washington (Vancouver) and really cannot help you with where to fish up north, but I wanted to caution you about the complexity of the fishing rules and regs here.
Last Saturday (4/26/08) was the opening day for "lowland lakes" I am not sure how they are listed as lowland, but I know of one fellow on another site who was ticketed because he was fishing in an open lake and walked across the road to another lake without realizing it was closed and got a $109 lesson. All the lakes are listed in the fishing pamphlet so it is just a matter of knowing where you are going and what the rules are for that body of water.

I do not know how close you are to Lake Washington, but a highschool kid I know created a web site for a school project on fishing Lake Washington. I hope I am allowed to add this link

check it out...might help!
