Not true on the only good crappie lake around Preston. There are two others that produce very well.
About 30% less fish than last year at Treasureton.
Many 16" fish with largest I think was 19". Those 16" fish will be much larger by fall. It is being planted this week with fish that probably were going to Twin. That is my understanding after Twin Lakes Canals announcement about making their lakes open to fishing with no license and saying they would plant their own lakes. I would think that the Idaho F&G has to OK their permit to do that. I would certainly feel terrible if they denied them that.
Treasureton will be fine- big fish bit the dust but others will take their place very quickly. There is so much good water in So Idaho that if I fished one a week I wouldn't get to fish the same one more than twice in a summer.
And remember the fishing Gods just visit So Idaho they live in So Wy.
