I am back now. I met a bunch of net folks, but I have short term memory[laugh] I don't remember if I met windriver, but I tied all day Friday, Saturday I went to a funeral in Pocatello and got back to the show around 2:30p.m.
Davy Whitlock is such a great guy. He likes my red hair and kissed my hand. I bet you didn't get that WR, LOL[laugh][laugh]
His drawings are unbelievable. I wanted one of his coffee cups but, was short on money.
Al Beatty, Lynn Scott, Jay Buchner, and a bunch of others. We are talking BIG NAME fly tiers. It was humbling for sure. But I heard I was on the news.
I tied so many #32's and I noticed the camera crew zeroing in. That was cool! Scored some new RIO line, and cast the Sage Z-Axis and the ZXL....NICE! Dennis Brakke from the FLY DESK was there also, so got my indicator supply stocked up again, plus watched him tie his works of art.
Great time, but good to be home.
Oh Yeah! Got out to fish briefly and landed a 19" small mouth bass. I guess there are more and more in the Snake. She was beautiful and FUN!
