Hello,
My name is Mark. I live in Nampa, work in Boise. I'm currently boat-less. Most of my fishing is done with my dad. We used to fish Horsethief, but we've stopped going there over the last 5 years because there's always so many people. Now, we usually just fish Cascade a few times a year. These last two years we've actually started catching trout again. Every couple of years we hit Corral Creek for a weekend. My dad doesn't get around as well as he used to, so now we stick to the spots where we can pretty much drive to. He grew up on the Oregon coast, so I get to hear lots of good stories about salmon/steelhead fishing from back in the day. In our 25 years in Idaho we've fished most lakes/rivers of SW Idaho at least once.
I purchased a new fly rod two years ago, but I've only used it a couple of times...I haven't even caught anything on it. Maybe this will be the year that I finally break it in.
