This has nothing to do with the fish and game. They can not predict ice depth, snow fall etc... If they had opened it up for salvage and then fish survived the public would have cried foul and they would have been on the loosing end of the stick.

I respect the job that the Fish and Game are doing and I feel like I get my moneys worth.

I just wish that they had more money for enforcement. I would like to see them around more often.
