fishned, I admit I lose a few holes with fish to the dogs. My previous Lab mix was so damn smart that she did exactly what she was told and knew not to swim in front of me when I was fishing. Molly is almost 3 and absolutely loves to go swimming and fishing. She's average intelligent but will do as told so I remind her to stay out of the water in front of me. My dogs are very active running and playing and don't just sit and watch me. The border collie only swims when she needs to and isn't constantly swimming like Molly. I think the key is that I usually take them to remote places where they do have the freedom to run around without bothering other people. I certainly don't know how to keep a lab out of the water.
