Hi Jeff as far as the 1st part of your question, I can't answer as I do not have that reel. But the second part I can as I use spiderwire on my Abu Garcia Ambas
eur. It works just fine with it. I can't think of a reel that spider wire wouldn't work. But then I haven't tried it on all my reels, just the ones I use most often. Hope this helps.
