As far as Idaho fishing goes I usually (99% of the time) stay around the Preston Area lakes and of course the Oneida Narrows (Bear River). As far as the smallies are concerned, the Narrows are the only place that I have caught them. I have not caught a smallie out of the Preston Area lakes, nor do I know if they are even in any of them. If I remember correctly we talked (on here) about some of the BIG smallies that I caught there in the Narrows. Remember? There was and still are a lot of people that dont believe me when I say I caught some Smallies out of there, 4 of which I took up there and on one cast proved them wrong!!! Wish I could be more helpful with the smallies. The largies on the other hand I can help you out I suppose. Twin Lakes produced a LMB at a 2 1/2 to 1 cast to catch ratio for me last summer and that is no joke!!! I'm not a "Bass Man" but I do enjoy catching them and do know enough to get by, but I tell you what, that was the BEST fishing of last year there at Twin Lakes in the summer!!!
