Hi Fish
First question: do you have a boat? If so, go back to last summer and see the many posts from Riverrunner16, Lunddude, and myself (Kodiak) about kokanee fishing in Lucky Peak and Anderson Ranch. Lucky Peak and Arrowrock can be good in the summer for kokanee and trout, with the kokanee going up to 18". Anderson is great one year, and slow the next. If you don't have a boat, there will be many opportunities later on when the ice leaves locations like Little Camas, Horsethief, Cascade, etc. But, a boat and downriggers gives you many more options, such as Payette Lake and Stanley Lake for big macinaw trout, with 30#ers a possibility in P.L. (Our last laker in Payette L. was a 33 pounder! Good fishing, and keep watching this site, the F. and G. fishing reports online, and Fish 'n' Hunt reports. Mike
