G'day Dan

The seminars sound like a lot of fun.

This time of the year the southern states are into winter fish including your bluefish cousins. A species we call "Taylor". In the sweetwater it's Bass and in the tropics it's full on fishing time with barramundi, queenfish (skinnies), spanish mackerel, and many others.

On our west coast it's Tuna, Marlin and Saifish off a small pearling coastal town called Broome. Sailfish mecca and only discovered the offshore currents about 7 years ago..

Into the western Pacific, it's Wahoo, Striped Marlin, big GT's, Dogtooth Tuna and others. These are the one's we'll be targeting in the small IGFA Tourny that were heading off to shortly.

FYI, had fresh (whole baby) barramundi for dinner last night. About a 5 pounder and just the right size.

BBQ'ed with cut course - lemon grass, butter/pepper sauce and garlic inlaids with finely chopped corianda sprinkled over the top.

Is your mouth watering cos mine is (again). I do a bit of cookiing in my (rare) spare time as well.
'
These fish are the best eating fish around let me tell ya.

Chilled bottle of chardonnay, or a few cold beer's and a man is just about set for anything I reckon.

Burnin Thumbs!

Steve B
Moderator Lures/Baits Forum
http://www.demonjigs.com
