Sportsmans Expo deals?
#27
There are lots of guide/lodge services at the show. It depends on what you want to fish in Canada. We were looking for a place in Canada to primarily fish for Smallies. We stopped by a vendor called Rough Rock Lodge in Northwest Ontario. The owners were extremely friendly to talk to. I thought the prices were very reasonable, at least compared to fishing in Mexico. The all inclusive package for seven nights and six days of self guided fishing cost 2000.00 excluding air fare and transfers from Winnipeg to the lodge (150 miles). Not a bad price for a week long trip.

I agree with most on this board that the show was a let down. I would love to see more factory reps from the fishing side of the house. Motorguide, Abu Garcia, GLommis, Rogue, Pro Cure and so on. Most bass fisherman spend a lot of money this time of year gearing up for the spring so I know they could cash in on that trend. The way the show is going this might be my last time down there until things change.
