"I want to thank you. I am an active participant in many of the local sportsmen's message boards online. I was preparing to take my family to the ISE show in Salt Lake on Saturday. However, after reading posts from a large number of people that have already gone, I think you just saved me $36 (entrance fee for 4 people). I found that many of your major vendors that have been there in the past are not at this show. The biggest, and the one that provided the best deals at the show, was always Sportsman's Warehouse. This was often the one biggest draw for me in this show. I, and many of the others on the message boards, have found that these expos have really gone downhill in the last few years. It seems your focus is on a few seminars, but only a minority of the attendees actually go and sit through the seminars. The bulk of your people go through looking for good deals from your vendors. I would guess you are actively looking for someone to fill the void of Sportsman's Warehouse. However, you really need to focus it on a vendor that can provide a large variety of items at really good deals. Sportsman's has, in past expos, offered some great deals. (e.g. 2 for 1 buy on Cannon downriggers). If they can't provided discounted prices at the expo, why would I want to go there and pay my (very steep) $9 entrance fee to buy items that I can go to their retail location for free and avoid the crowds of the expo. Again, thanks for saving me the $36. You just freed up my weekend. I think I will take my family out to a nice relaxing dinner instead. I have no plans on attending one of these expos again in the future."
