We have been much colder up here with highs for the most part being in the 30's. We have had highs in the 50 the past couple of days but the ice is still very thick (16" on Treasureton). I would guess the edges will start clearing within a couple of weeks but it might be mid April before lakes are ice free. It all depends on the weather and wind. On most of these lakes fishing is really good for a week after ice off and than it shuts down for a couple of weeks while they turnover. By the first of May fishing is always great.
