I went out and there is ice all over the lake and I found a pond that comes from a spring that was thawed. Got skunked though. Muddy Creek run part of Lake Arthur though is frozen solid. Reports of ice that is 8 inches thick! Thick enough to in theory hold a car. According to signs by part of 422 that is now under water. Old 442. I talked to the local owner of the bait shop and well he said he would buy some flies off of me if I tied any. I made 15 San Juan worms and I am going to take them in and ask 50 cents a piece and I am buying a tip up that he is selling for $7.00 only thing is it is going to be 50 tomorrow.[shocked] I have to wait until next freeze to go and try it out.
