Nice. I have a similar story with a mud minnow. (saltwater minnow)
I took my aluminum boat in the saltwater inlet fishing for flounder. I was using mud minnows about 3" long for bait. I kept them in the livewell of my boat through out the day. When I was ready to go, I realease the bait I didn't use, but I had missed one. Of course, I pulled the plug on the livewell and flushed it with fresh water when I backed it down into the river to rinse the saltwater off of it. A couple weeks later, I was gearing up for a big catfishing trip I had planned out. I opened the live well, and I could not believe my eyes. There was a little mud minnow, swimming around in just enough water to cover his gills. His back was out of the water. He had lived in that live well for two weeks like that with no food. How's that for tough? [cool]
