Hey congrats,
I think it's cool! I was thinking of doing the same thing. Somebody caught a new state record chub last year i think. but i remember being surprised at how small it was, i've also caught bigger ones. I think it's pretty cool to get your name in the books even if it is a trash fish!
But I guess since you already took the chub category, I'll have to try for the biggest sculpin, or shiner or something like that [
