Keeping it real seems logical, but hard to see at times. I am fishing very skinny waters with a lot off little rapids and turbulants so visibilty would be nice. But I am having a hard time convincing myself that these finicky fish would rather hit a flourecent piece of yarn over something that resembles an insect. I also haven't fished for trout for almost 20yrs. and when I did I was using spinnig gear throwing rooster tails and worms, and with much embarressment little balls of wonder bread wich did quite well. I watched a video wich showed a parachute fly that seems like it may be the ticket, keeping the color on the upside of the lure.
