tmas,
I would certainly get up there and give it a shot. In my opinion it has been the best koke and all around fishing in my eleven years living in the area.
Windriver,
Glad you got into the fish; I have been tempted to go after some catch and release trout fishing this year, but as you know the kokes have been quite entertaining. Went back Sunday morning with my son and had a blast. Arived around 6:30 am, and my son iced a perch then it was dead for about an 1.5 hours with only a couple of kokes. Around 9:00 am everything caught on fire perch, kokes, and even a trout. We stayed till about Noon and iced 25 kokes, 7 perch, and the lone trout. Although my son and I caught kokes at all depths the most aggresive kokes tended to be in 45-55 feet of water. This is two weekends in a row that I have done well in my present location, and the amount of fish on the Vexilar has been impressive. Met some good people on the ice today, and all of s did well.
Hope all did well!
