I had the same problem with my new eskimo 3 horse two years ago, my problem was two fold, i didn't use top tier premium gas, and in loading it on the sled i had accidently put a small cooler in the area above the on/ off switch that in turn pushed it down to cause the switch not to connect after the viberation of the trip to the ice, it would work most of the time, but was a royal pain, the fix was simple and have had no problem since. Also my friend at ogden lawn and garden says leaving gas stored for longer than three or four months is the kiss of death in two strokes in cold weather, fuel stabbilizer helps some, but only for those that are freakish about cleaning and maintaining ther augers, but for the 5-6 bucks a new gallon and oil costs it's not worth the headache. hope this helps
