[cool][#0000ff]A similar thing happened last year, shortly after the ice capped the lake, but it was partially the result of lowering water level. The ice was glassy slick, with no snow, and when there was a bit of water on the top and sloping edges you were just about trapped on the ice unless you had really good ice cleats. Some guys actually had to wade through waist deep water to get back up off the ice. Not cool...COLD.[/#0000ff]
