It's going to happen it's just a matter of time. Beaver Mtn. only allows ATV's on aproved trails.
If you were in charge of managing public land you'ld be pissed about the few people who don't obey the rules. The only way to manage is for the entire group. Considering the majority of damage is done in a few month's of the year it's only practical to close down use for those those months. You'll still have year round riding in dunes and certain designated riding areas.
