I have been eyeballing these for about six months...

I think idealy these would be great for ice fishing, I would not use them any where else... other than in a servival kit where size and weight is a concern...

If I were to buy a new ice fishing rod, this would be it... either reel would be exceptable..

I am a big fan of telocoping rods.. tho I only have 4. I have had them year after year for 30 years...

wished they would send me one to test....[Tongue] I would test it for them every day during ice season...
