There have been wolves trapped in Box Elder county, Cache county and Morgan county. These trappings happened quite a while ago and have been talked about countless times.
As for being "In favor of wolves" because you like them, I seem to recall a story about a guy that "Liked" grizzly bears in Alaska. He liked them so much that he moved there with them and named them. One day the bears decided that they didn't like him so they mauled him and ate him.
We have enough problems with predators in Utah and we don't need anymore. The only good wolf is a dead wolf.
