Sandman, Take the screw cap off of the barell and shine a light inside so you can see the bottom. If you see a rubber shim (black) down there and perhaps one in the cap. This is a later model. If you have NIB Coits that have no shims and the magnetic antireverse is still intact. These are more valuable. My NIB reels just had a paper wrapping, handle, tool and reel, I have not seen or heard of any papers on this reel.
