Places unfriendly to Float Tubing

No water contact with waders on. Come on, I've been told its for my own safety. Stay near the shore they say. I've paddled my tube all over the ocean. Outside the kelp lines up North. Sort of a White Shark Zara Spook. Following the Pipe Out side of the Santa Ana River. Salt Creek , a great reef bite. Can't Tube DVL. Unbelievable! Unforgivable.. Can't we recall some politician over this. In Southern California there are way more lakes you can't fish than lakes you can. Public water.We pay to maintain them. Thank you Governor for saving us from our wanton selves. The water we can fish costs more and more. $10 dollars here for entry, $ 8 there for parking. The rest of the country, and a few of you chimed in, can fish where ever and when ever they want. Something about letting your people feed themselves I imagine. Unless that bit of water is in somebody's front yard you can almost always gain access, just by asking. How did we let this slip by out here in Commie-nifornia. Even though the Water Districts are public, the water is private or stupidly regulated. ( No Float Tubes, etc) In my general neighborhood and Dryrods too, there are many lakes. And outside of those lakes are the ones I can Tube. Katella Pond, Siphon Res, Rattlesnake Res, Oso Res,Peters Canyon Res, Ball Road pit,Noel Ranch Res, Coto, Church Pond, North and South Woodbridge Lakes, Lake Forrest. Those are off the top of my head, there may be more. Can't fish them at all. Got to pay at Irvine Lake, Corona, Laguna Niguel, and it isn't much cheaper for Puddingstone or Perris. Or Castaic Afterbay or Pyramid.
We should be able to fish our waters, safely,quietly, and thoroughly in whatever contraption we deem acceptable , just like the rest of mankind all through history. Public money builds the Marinas, Launch ramps, Docks. Why charge us more to use them. No wonder Johnny sits home on his Video game, he can't afford to go to the park...
