Lowrance X67c Ice Machine Modified
#21
[#002850]"So Kent, my next question is; Can one purchase a bell shaped transducer for any (or most) Lowrance sonar?" [#800080] I would think so, but it should be easy to find out by visiting the Lowrance website or by giving them a call. Puzzled by your question because the one that you show in your picture is a bell shaped transducer made for ice fishing. Mine looks exactly like yours.[/#800080][/#002850]

[#002850]Also, I wouldn't want to use your setup on my transducer and cable simply because the weight of the ducer might cause premature breakage in the cable. I think that is the reason for the rod support hole through my ducer. [#800080]I believe that cable can handle a lot more than you are giving it credit for. I think the reason that Lowrance is going to all of that trouble is simply to design something that will not violate Vexilar's float patent. [/#800080][/#002850]
