I don't know how many of you remember the days when BC was full of large rainbows and cutbows. In my younger days we could catch a handful of 18+ inch fish every time we went there. There was pleanty of pressure then and it never seemed to hurt our success rates. I think BC has the capacity to produce large trout in a short period of time and that the numbers of large fish will depend on stocking and harvest (stating the obvious). I have always been amazed at the size of fish I have caught there. As for keeping fish from BC, unless things have changed in recent years, the fish from there have a mossy tast and I would prefer a trout from other waters, so why keep them when there are plenty of trout in other waters to eat.
I just don't think we should get all bent out of shape over something we cannot control. If you really don't like the situation, go to a RAC meeting and voice you opinion on management. Otherwise, you are just complaining.
