[cool][#0000ff]No offense here. I have lived in different areas of the country and have lived through the shifting of ethnic and economic percentages everywhere...especially in southern Arizona. I have also traveled extensively in Mexico and have a definite read on the differences between our two countries.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]I can certainly understand why any citizen of most of the Latin American countries would leave everything behind and risk injury or death to fight their way into our country. No brainer. In all fairness, if I were faced with many of the same living conditions, I would do whatever I needed to do in order to eke out a better living for my family.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]I am probably more sympathetic than most to the plight of the migrants, because we have some mixed marriages within our family...and grandchildren with dual heritage. But, I am also incensed with the element among those migrants that comes here not for the work but for the opportunity to rip off, rob, rape, sell drugs and otherwise make a living illegally...after coming into the country illegally. They are a small percentage but they are the ones that comprise the biggest part of the news every evening.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]And, when law enforcement gets them off the street, the legal system puts them back out and back in business before the officer has the paperwork finished on the arrest. And, if they should end up in jail, where the majority of inmates are now non-anglo, they control the entire system within the walls and live better on the free room and board than most of their friends and family on the outside.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]What is
is to look at the flip side. I witnessed first hand what happens to citizens of the USA who commit even the most minor infraction in Mexico. SLAMMER! No trial, no lawyer, no communication with anyone in the USA. Nothing. You are suddenly in a lost world, where you have to fight for the meager "food" they dump in the overcrowded cells, and if you are weak you will be brutalized all day every day until you die or someone discovers you and helps you get out. And, that is just for something as inoffensive as a minor fender bender traffic accident...or tripping over a microphone cord in one of the sleazy clubs...or in one case, a guy having an overlooked .22 shell in the trunk of his car. It cost that guy six months of hell in jail, over $100,000 in fees and fines, his company, his health and his marriage.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Knowing what I do about the standards across the border, it makes my gut turn to see our hospitals going bankrupt around the country because of all of the free services they are forced to render. And, when illegals picket on the streets, for rights they do not even truly know or care about...it's just something to do...I wanna mow them down with my car. Whew. Sorry.[/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]What really tears it is that in some areas of Los Angeles there are schools and businesses that are flying the Mexican flog on top of the US flag...or even turning the US flag upside down. And they wonder why we "descriminate".[/#0000ff]
