I don't mean to put a damper on the festivities but 
ly I have to report there will be no deers eve for me.
Instead of heading out to the woods in the morning I'll be getting up early and driving my daughter to Detroit to see a specialist. Yup that's right a doctor. We recently found out she has a tumor wrapping itself around the muscles in her arm. Our family doctor sent us to a sugeon here in Grand Rapids but he wasn't confident he would be able to remove it so it's off to Detroit to see a specialist. No word yet if it is cancerious or not. Our Dr. doesn't "think" it is. Tests are pending but we won't know for sure until it's removed. Not fun... not fun at all.
Not sure if I'll even get a deer licence at this point.
