Building a casting rod from a spinning blank (tube dude?)

Sounds good. I just bought a dawia sol which is a small light reel.

I've built a few rods, but I orded kits so I dont really know how to pick components. I saw these on the cabelas websight though:

Handle kit: 6.5" handle
